Dear all participants,

We would like to thank the participants of The Real World of Immersive Augmented Reality training who submitted the AR Final Assignment to the instructor. Totally we have received 41 project.

After assessment by internal committee, we are pleased to announce the 20 projects who are selected as shortlists as list below.

To select the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd winners, the shortlisted teams are required to make an online presentation about their AR on Thursday, 25 January 2018 to the Judging Committee.

Herewith the note for the shortlisted teams:

  • The shortlisted teams will be required to make a presentation according to shortlist AR Final Assignment
  • Please prepare the presentation with following important items:
  • Slide 1: You can introduce your team, coordinating teacher, school name and your AR title
  • Slide 2: You can tell story about your Augmented Reality Theme. Please tell the reason why you choose the theme
  • Slide 3: You can tell your experience about developing your AR by joining this program (challenges, difficulties, benefit)
  • (You may add more slides if you want, but please focus more in the video section)
  • Please make a short video (3 minutes) about AR project that has been created to make presentation process easier. You can show the video in the presentation session
  • The duration of each shortlisted team’s presentation is about 5 minutes/team for a presentation include Q&A from Judging Committee
  • The teams should explain/present in English, please prepare your self well
  • For the shorlisted teams who are not able to make a presentation on 25 January 2018 will be disqualified.

Pre Final Assignment

[Official Message from Training Committee]
Dear all participants,
Before entering the final assignment project, we give a pre final assignment task to all teams who participating in this training as our evaluation at the end of the final assignment project. The task of pre final assignment is a simple Augmented Reality project, here are the provisions:
1. The Project consists of 1 3D object model with animation at least 5 seconds
2. The 3D Object model is not from the internet
3. The Project uses 1 target image
4. The Project can be combined with video or audio
5. The Project can be added scene menu
6. The end result of the project is a file with .apk format
7. Save the .apk file, image target file and unity project in 1 file with .rar or .zip format
8. Free theme
